Job summary

CyberTrend Engineering LLC seeks a Software Engineer II with TS/SCI clearance and poly for our Annapolis Junction, MD program. You will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, work on analytics, real-time processing, and large data sets, and contribute to system design and validation.

The role requires 14+ years of SWE experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree), and hands-on work with modern stacks including Java, Python, AWS,

Qualifications

• 14+ years as SWE in programs of similar scope and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree required; 4 additional years of SWE experience may substitute for a degree
• Experience deriving software design from user requirements and performance specs
• Ability to lead teams within software development processes
• Experience with software testing, documentation, and software lifecycle activities

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics and real-time processing
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements
• Resolve software defect reports and perform performance tuning
• Lead software development activities and coordinate with system engineers
• Design data interfaces and algorithms to meet performance and timing constraints
• Oversee software installation, monitor operation, and ensure compliance with process standards
