Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration in Colorado Springs, CO, seeks a Software Engineer II to join the C2BMC program. The role focuses on developing and maintaining scalable DevOps solutions and CI/CD pipelines to support mission-critical software delivery.

The ideal candidate has a CS-related degree with 2+ years of experience (or a master's with less), active DoD 8140 IAT II+ certification, and a current DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with relevant experience or equivalent
• Active DoD 8140 IAT Level II+ certification at time of application
• Active DoD Secret clearance required to start
• Willingness to travel 10%

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable DevOps solutions and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation and system performance
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins
• Develop software with Python and Java; script with Bash and PowerShell
• Implement IaC and SDN for enterprise network management
• Document software, CI/CD pipelines, architectures, configurations, and tooling
• Support after-hours activities as needed
• Perform additional program tasks as required
