Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration in Colorado Springs, CO, seeks a Software Engineer to join the Regional Applications / Planner team and develop Java/J2EE applications for the C2BMC program. On-site role with no remote option, involvement across design, development, testing, and integration.

Required a current Secret clearance and strong background in Java/J2EE and Unix/Linux, with collaboration across disciplines to deliver mission-critical software for missile defense

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and 2 years of experience; or Master’s with 0 years; or 6 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Current, active Secret security clearance required to start.
• Experience in Java/J2EE and Unix/Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, maintain, and debug enterprise software applications using Java/J2EE (and potentially C++).
• Develop software for Unix/Linux environments with standard software engineering practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and improve software reliability.
