Job summary

enGen is seeking a skilled software engineer to join an agile team building scalable applications across digital channels. You will contribute to architectural decisions, design specifications, and end-to-end development using modern technologies and patterns.

The role requires collaboration across scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and delivery of features with a strong focus on performance and maintainability. Office-based and candidate must be US citizen.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field.
Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript and REST/SOAP web services.
Strong knowledge of design patterns and scalable software architectures.
Experience with modern cloud platforms and integration technologies.

Responsibilities

Design and create engineering specifications for software applications; write clean, scalable code and perform code reviews.
Explore technical solutions to achieve product features while ensuring scalability and performance.
Participate in agile ceremonies, plan sprints, and manage tasks in RTC/Jira; report blockers to the Scrum Master.
