Job summary

enGen in the United States is seeking a software engineer to contribute to scalable software applications across digital channels, serving customer needs with robust architecture and modern design patterns. You will participate in all stages from idea generation to implementation within an agile team, focusing on performance, scalability, and maintainability.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CS/CE, 1 year in programming languages such as Java or Python, and experience with REST/JSON.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field.
• 1 year proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns in scalable, highly available systems.
• 1 year experience in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, ACE, IIB/ITX, Informatica) and experience with at least two of: React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS, GCP or AWS.
• 1 year of understanding of web services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, JSON.
• 3 years with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to Java, Python, C/C++, C#, JavaScript, or Go.
• 3+ years of experience developing integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) technologies and cloud-native development.
• 3+ years of experience working with Oracle ATP databases.
• 2+ years of experience developing apps using Oracle APEX and/or Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
• Experience designing and implementing REST and SOAP integrations with Oracle Fusion Cloud and external systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications and programs.
• Write code that adheres to coding standards and perform code reviews.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning and execution.
• Create tasks for stories and update status in RTC or Jira.
• Monitor progress and report issues to senior developers/principals.
• Other duties as assigned.
