Job summary

enGen is seeking a software engineer to join an agile team building scalable applications across digital channels. You will contribute to architectural decisions and implement software using modern stacks, taking ownership from design to delivery.

The role requires collaboration in scrum ceremonies, supporting sprint planning, and delivering high-quality code with an emphasis on performance and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 1 year in design/analysis of algorithms and data structures
• 1 year in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, ACE, IIB/ITX, Informatica preferred) and experience with two of: React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS, GCP or AWS
• 1 year understanding of REST, HTTPS, JSON

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications; write code per standards; perform code reviews.
• Explore technical solutions to achieve required product features while safeguarding scalability and performance.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies; assist in sprint planning; complete required sprints; communicate blockers to Scrum Master.
