Job summary

enGen is seeking a software engineer to join an agile team responsible for scalable software across digital channels. You will contribute to architectural decisions, design patterns, and end-to-end development using the best-fit stack.

The role emphasizes collaboration, code quality, and timely delivery. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in CS/CE, 1 year in algorithms and modern languages, and familiarity with REST/JSON.

Qualifications

• 1 year proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and design patterns for scalable systems.
• 1 year of experience in at least one modern language (Java, Python, JavaScript) and related tech (React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS, GCP or AWS).
• 1 year understanding of REST, HTTPS, JSON.
• 3+ years with Java, Python, C/C++, C#, JavaScript or Go and Oracle cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications.
• Write code adhering to standards and perform code reviews.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning.
• Create tasks for stories and track progress in RTC or Jira.
• Monitor progress and report issues to senior developers.
