Job summary

BECU is seeking a Software Developer to deliver ongoing enhancements to the core banking platform, combining solid software design with hands-on development. You will partner with business and technical teams to translate needs into robust solutions and participate in production deployments.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, scalable solutions, and operations support, with remote or onsite flexibility within a collaborative banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience designing software and writing production code in a team environment.
• Experience delivering highly scalable solutions in multiple programming languages and technical environments.
• Experience with cloud technology, .NET, C#, PowerShell, JavaScript/Typescript, Python, SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps Services, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity).

Responsibilities

• Deliver Technical Solutions: secure, compliant software delivery per requirements.
• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept from business needs.
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve service delivery.
• Support production deployments and on-call troubleshooting to ensure system stability.
