Job summary
BECU is seeking a Director of Technology – Core Banking to align technology strategy with business goals and drive modernization across cloud, data, APIs, and DevOps.
You will oversee engineering and delivery teams, implement agile practices, manage roadmaps, governance, and ensure delivery of measurable business value across enterprise core banking initiatives.
Remote or onsite work is available for eligible locations, with potential HQ collaboration as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
- 7+ years of people leadership experience with delivery accountability.
- 8+ years of information technology experience with large-scale platforms or programs.
- Domain experience with ERP and/or financial products (core banking, deposits, etc.).
- Experience building platforms and teams delivering end-to-end results.
Responsibilities
- Develop and align technology strategy with business goals.
- Lead delivery for core banking initiatives with Agile practices.
- Own roadmaps and governance for enterprise platforms.
- Mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams.
- Drive platform modernization and cross-team coordination.
