Job summary

BECU is seeking a Software Developer to deliver new capabilities on the core banking platform. You’ll combine analysis with hands-on development, work with business and technical teams, and translate needs into technical solutions.

You will contribute across the software lifecycle and participate in on-call production support. Qualified candidates will have 2+ years in software design and production coding, strong skills in .NET/C#, JavaScript, Python, and SQL, plus experience with CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum two years of experience designing software and writing production code in a team environment.
• Experience delivering highly scalable solutions in multiple programming languages and technical environments.
• Experience with cloud technology, .NET, C#, PowerShell, JavaScript/Typescript, Python, SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and tools like Azure DevOps Services, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or TeamCity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical solutions following BECU competencies, compliance, and information protection requirements.
• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and solutions across the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and clarify business requirements and impacts.
• Drive continuous improvement to optimize operations, service delivery and user experience.
• Support production deployments and on-call duties to minimize service disruptions.
