Job summary

BECU seeks a Software Developer to deliver new capabilities on core banking platforms. You will analyze requirements, develop solutions, and participate in deployments, including on-call support for production issues.

You will collaborate with business and tech teams to drive measurable value and improved user experiences. The role requires at least a couple of years of production software experience, cloud tech familiarity, and strong modern programming skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum two years of experience designing software and writing production code in a team environment.
• Experience delivering highly scalable solutions across multiple programming languages and environments.
• Experience with cloud technology, .NET, C#, PowerShell, JavaScript/Typescript, Python, SQL; solid OOP.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Services, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or TeamCity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical solutions in alignment with BECU competencies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and full solutions across the software lifecycle.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical plans.
