Job summary

BECU is seeking a Software Developer to drive enhancements within the core banking platform. You will combine systems analysis with hands-on configuration and development, partnering with business and technical teams to translate needs into scalable technical solutions.

You’ll participate in deployments, support production issues, and contribute to the software lifecycle while advancing banking applications and services for members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum two years of design and production coding experience.
• Experience delivering scalable solutions across languages and tech stacks.
• Cloud technology familiarity and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Knowledge of SOLID design principles and OOP concepts.
• Proficient in collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs and compliance.
• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and end-to-end solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimize performance and user experience.
• Review code for quality and adherence to standards.
• Support production deployments and on-call issue resolution.
