Job summary

BECU is seeking a Software Developer to deliver and enhance core banking applications. You will design, develop, test, and deploy software across the full lifecycle, working with business and technical teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.

You will contribute to architecture discussions, implement improvements, and participate in on-call deployments to ensure system stability and high availability for members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum two years of experience designing software and writing production code in a team environment.
• Experience delivering highly scalable solutions in multiple programming languages and technical environments.
• Experience with cloud technology and OOP design principles.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity).

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical solutions in accordance with BECU competencies and requirements.
• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and solutions across the lifecycle.
• Partner with stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, service delivery, and user experience.
• Participate in on‑call rotations for production deployments and issue resolution.
• Review code and contribute to development standards to ensure quality and consistency.
