Job summary

BECU is seeking a Software Developer to deliver technical solutions for core banking platforms. You will develop prototypes and production code across the software lifecycle, working closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, efficient systems.

As part of a collaborative team, you will participate in production deployments and on-call rotations, while supporting continuous improvement and adherence to BECU standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience designing software and writing production code in a team environment.
• Experience delivering highly scalable solutions in multiple programming languages and technical environments.
• Experience with cloud technology, .NET, C#, PowerShell, JavaScript/Typescript, Python, SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and tools such as Azure DevOps Services, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or TeamCity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical solutions in accordance with BECU competencies and compliance requirements.
• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and solutions across the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements and recommend solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve service delivery.
• Enhance existing systems by identifying areas for performance and UX improvements.
• Review code to ensure style, consistency, and adherence to standards.
