Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking on-call Snow Shovel Driver team members for the winter season. Join a reputation for reliable work, competitive pay, and best-in-class equipment while helping our customers stay prepared for snow events.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or be willing to obtain one.
• No prior snow removal experience required but willingness to learn is a plus.
• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive the shovel crew in a box truck to and from job sites.
• Perform snow removal tasks to customer specifications and safety standards.
• Complete onboarding training and learn routes.
• Communicate effectively to address on-the-job issues.
• Submit hours, activities, and materials accurately and on time.

Requirements

• Responsible for driving the shovel crew in a box truck to and from job sites in addition to performing shovel crew responsibilities
• Complete training for onboarding, snow removal safety, and learning routes.
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards
• Utilize effective communication for on-the-job issues that may arise
• Submit details of hours, activities, and materials in an accurate and timely manner
• Must be 18 or older
• No experience required
• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work
• Valid chauffeur's license required (or must be willing to obtain one)
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holiday, and weekend work as needed
