Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management in Michigan is hiring on-call Snow Shovel Drivers for winter operations in Comstock Park. You will join a team that handles snow removal with reliable equipment and clear safety standards; no prior experience is required, and training is provided.

This part-time, seasonal role offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay ($24–$26 per hour) with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• No prior snow removal experience required.
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
• Must have valid driver’s license or willingness to obtain one.
• On-call availability including nights, days, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive the shovel crew in a box truck to job sites and perform snow removal duties as directed.
• Complete onboarding training for safety and routes.
• Work safely to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Communicate on-the-job issues promptly.
• Record hours and materials accurately.

Requirements

• Responsible for driving the shovel crew in a box truck to and from job sites in addition to performing shovel crew responsibilities
• Complete training for onboarding, snow removal safety, and learning routes.
• Work safely to complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards
• Utilize effective communication for on-the-job issues that may arise
• Submit details of hours, activities, and materials in an accurate and timely manner
• Must be 18 or older
• No experience required
• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work
• Valid chauffeur's license required (or must be willing to obtain one)
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holiday, and weekend work as needed
