Qualifications

• Maintain character and work well with others.
• Lift 25 lbs regularly; 50 lbs occasionally.
• Prior meat cutting/trimming experience.
• Culinary knowledge or background preferred.
• Read and follow directions; understand deli/meat ops.
• Supervise and train others; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• On the sales floor, embrace the Pit Master role with dedication to smoked meats.
• Engage guests and hosts to create a fun, engaging environment.
• Ensure staff provide friendly, engaging service and upsell samples.
• Demonstrate superior guest service and operate to standards.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking and light cutting as needed.
• Maintain HACCP logs and department sanitation per standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, and feedback to staff.
• Work with department to uphold merchandising and quality.
• Handle announcements and general duties as directed by management.
