Lowes Foods is seeking friendly, energetic team members for the Smokehouse department in North Carolina. You will engage guests with sampling, tell the story behind our products, and maintain brand standards while delivering warm, personal service.

Responsibilities include merchandising, safety, HACCP logs, light meat cutting, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. You’ll collaborate with colleagues to deliver quality products, hearing the guest needs and selling confidently to enhance

Qualifications

• Friendly, energetic and outgoing personality.
• Ability to engage guests and have fun with customers.
• Willingness to perform in front of crowds in the Smokehouse.
• Ability to multitask and work with others.
• Experience with meat cutting or trimming.
• Culinary knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of deli and meat department operations.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Strong communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Good communication with supervision and basic computer use.

Responsabilités

• Provides fun, friendly and engaging service.
• Actively engage guests through Smokehouse samples and story-selling.
• Perform activities described in the Pit Master performance description.
• Operate the department to maintain merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Perform product prep, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as needed.
• Maintain HACCP product information logs as needed.
• Perform light meat cutting duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform PA announcements.
