Job summary

Verizon seeks an Account Manager-SMB Sales in Palo Alto, CA. You’ll use your sales experience to hunt and grow revenue, managing time and customer relations while promoting technology solutions across Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP, and Google platforms.

Expect travel up to 50% in a mobile role that blends field and customer-site work. You’ll build relationships with decision makers, qualify opportunities, and drive targets with Salesforce/CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or three or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant work experience.
• Willingness to work in a mobile role with travel within your assigned geographic sales territory. Expected travel may be up to approximately 50% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify leads within the territory to drive sales opportunities via cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns and social selling.
• Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
• Retain, manage and grow the existing customer base.
• Educate and excite customers with innovative business solutions.
• Build relationships with key decision makers.
• Present and create multi-product solution opportunities.
• Understand and sell integrated software solutions including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms.
• Track and report progress through CRM tools.
• Drive sales and manage relationships for accounts in the 1–19 employee segment.
