Job summary

Longs HVAC seeks a results-driven Commercial HVAC Account Executive to drive growth in SMB. You will identify, estimate, and close opportunities for installations, retrofits, and maintenance with in-house certified technicians.

The ideal candidate combines HVAC knowledge with strong communication and customer service, serving building owners, facility managers, and contractors with end-to-end climate solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of successful B2B sales in commercial HVAC or related building services.
• Strong understanding of light commercial HVAC systems and basic controls.
• Ability to read basic mechanical blueprints is a plus.
• Proven ability to construct cost estimates and communicate ROI to buyers.
• Proficient with CRM (Jobber preferred) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a robust B2B sales pipeline through cold calling and inbound leads.
• Visit client sites to assess equipment and determine project scope.
• Create accurate technical proposals for changes, retrofits, and maintenance contracts.
• Present proposals highlighting energy, ROI, and reliability to owners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth hand-offs and scheduling.
• Maintain ongoing account relationships to secure renewals and future replacements.
• Travel to local client sites with valid driver's license.
