Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Houston seeks a Business Banking Relationship Manager II to develop and manage a portfolio of mid-market clients with annual gross sales between $2M and $10M. You will work with product partners to tailor financial solutions, expand client relationships, and navigate credit and treasury management needs while maintaining high ethical standards and risk awareness.

This role requires strong sales, credit acumen, and the ability to travel regionally to meet clients and centers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years sales experience; 3 years managing business banking or commercial relationships preferred.
• Formalized credit training or credit risk experience required.
• Underwriting experience preferred.
• Proven ability to build new and existing client business and provide a positive client experience.
• Strong business acumen with financial statement analysis and advanced accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new clients using referrals, existing clients, and centers of influence.
• Work with product partners to tailor a relationship strategy for each client.
• Attend industry forums to broaden networks and deepen market knowledge.
• Retain and grow long-term profitable client relationships.
• Cross-sell applicable Fifth Third products to existing business clients and owners.
• Plan and conduct relationship strategy and review meetings with product partners.
