Job summary

ADT is hiring a Home Security Sales Advisor who will visit customers at their homes to demonstrate ADT's security and smart home solutions. You will assess needs, tailor system configurations, and guide clients from inquiry to installation, delivering trusted advice in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

We offer unlimited earning potential with uncapped commissions; new advisors can earn around $95,000 and experienced ones over $150,000, plus comprehensive training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; licensing may be needed by location.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and proactive in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated, results-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset; you thrive on uncovering new leads and closing deals.
• Strong communicator and relationship builder who can consult with customers and guide them to the right solution.
• Adaptable and flexible; you excel in dynamic environments and enjoy learning new systems.
• Consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust: By showing up with integrity, empathy, and expertise, you will become a reliable advisor customers can count on, both during the sale and long after the installation.
• Customize each system to fit your client’s space, lifestyle, and concerns, combining security, automation, and life safety technology in ways that work for them.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups with customers to confirm that commitments were fulfilled and to generate referrals.
• Cultivate new business opportunities: identify and generate new sales leads to maximize outreach.
