Job summary

NRG Energy, owner of Vivint Smart Home, is hiring a Field Service Professional to install, service, and support industry-leading smart home technology nationwide. You will build trusted relationships with customers, diagnose issues, and deliver solutions that create safer, more connected homes.

You will work independently with daily appointments and a supportive team, leveraging uncapped commission to enhance earnings while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install and service smart home security, thermostat and automation systems, including cameras and smart locks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Educate customers on product features and functionality.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every appointment.
• Conduct onsite evaluations to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Maintain quality, safety and installation standards.
• Manage daily appointments, work orders and equipment.
• Identify service recommendations and referral opportunities when appropriate.
