Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, is hiring Field Service Technicians to install smart home tech, assess homes, and upsell upgrades on-site. You'll be the face of Vivint, delivering cutting-edge solutions and ensuring customer peace of mind.

The role blends technical work with sales, including training homeowners, earning competitive pay plus uncapped commissions, and opportunities to advance within the national organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Benefiting from coaching and leadership training to move up within the organization.
