Job summary

NRG Energy, owner of Vivint Smart Home, is seeking a Field Service Professional to install and service smart home technology in Woodward, OK. You will build trust with customers while delivering safe, reliable and connected home experiences.

The role includes hands‑on installations, ongoing training, a take‑home vehicle with a gas card, tools and tablet, plus uncapped commission opportunities and a four‑day, 10‑hour schedule with paid drive time.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to pass licensing requirements under applicable law.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.

Responsibilities

• Install and service smart home security, thermostat and automation systems, including cameras and smart locks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Educate customers on product features and functionality.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every appointment.
• Conduct onsite evaluations to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Maintain quality, safety and installation standards.
• Manage daily appointments, work orders and equipment.
• Identify service recommendations and referral opportunities when appropriate.
