Job summary

ADT is seeking a Smart Home Consultant to guide residential customers in designing a home security and smart device setup. You will perform in-home consultations, install and activate security hardware and IoT devices, and educate customers on app features and ongoing support.

You will combine hands-on installation with consultative sales, ensuring solutions fit each home’s unique needs and goals. A valid driver’s license and strong customer communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home consultations and assessments.
• Recommend smart home and security solutions based on customer goals.
• Install and activate security hardware, cameras, IoT devices, and smart home products.
• Integrate new products with the customer’s existing setup.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical questions.
• Complete customer onboarding and product education.
• Build long-term customer confidence through proactive support.
• Identify upsell opportunities that strengthen home protection.
