Job summary

Brinks Home in the United States is seeking a hands-on Alarm Service Technician to install, service, and inspect low-voltage security equipment at customer sites. You will travel to homes, troubleshoot issues, replace components, and verify system operations to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include educating customers on system use, conducting thorough site evaluations, and maintaining safety and organization on every job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to climb ladders and work in tight spaces.
• Low-voltage license or alarm installation certification; NICET I.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and inspect low-voltage alarm equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot system issues and replace components as needed.
• Drive to customer homes and perform on-site visits.
• Demonstrate system operation and educate customers.
• Ensure safety and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Review work orders with customers to verify needs.
