Job summary

Brinks Home is seeking an Alarm Service Technician to install, service, and inspect low-voltage security equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot issues, update components, and demonstrate system operation to customers.

A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is paid after 90 days of employment and experience with Low Voltage CCTV is highly preferred. You will travel to homes, lift up to 30 pounds, and work in tight spaces while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates.
• NICET I certification preferred or required.
• Low-voltage license or alarm installation certification required.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to install, service, and inspect low-voltage security equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system faults; replace panels and peripherals as needed.
• Conduct system demonstrations and customer education.
• Perform site evaluations with customers to ensure the system meets needs and expectations.
• Install and test equipment, verify signal transmission and operation.
• Maintain safety practices and a clean, organized job site.
• Travel to customer homes; assist with lifting up to 30 pounds; climb ladders; work in tight spaces.
