Job summary

Brinks Home is looking for an Alarm Service Technician to install, service, and inspect low-voltage alarm equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot issues, replace components, and provide system demonstrations while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, and maintaining a clean job site. A valid license and NICET I certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience or familiarity with alarm systems and panels.
• Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights.
• Ability to work in crawl spaces, attics and basements.
• Certifications in low-voltage or alarm installation (e.g., NICET I).

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and inspect low-voltage alarm equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose alarm system issues.
• Replace components such as panels and peripheral devices.
• Conduct customer education and system demonstrations.
• Perform site walkthroughs to ensure system meets customer needs.
• Maintain safety and keep the workspace clean and organized.
