Job summary

Brinks Home seeks an Alarm Service Technician to install, service, and inspect low-voltage security equipment at customer sites across the region. You will troubleshoot, replace components, and demonstrate system operations while building strong customer relationships.

The role requires driving to homes, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces. A valid license and security certifications are required, with comprehensive benefits and a $1,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Low-voltage license or alarm installation certification required.
• NICET I certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Able to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Able to access crawlspaces, attics, and basements.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and inspect low-voltage security equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot technical problems with alarm systems and panels.
• Replace components such as panels, devices, and alarms as needed.
• Travel to customer homes for on-site service visits.
• Perform site walkthroughs to confirm system meets needs.
• Demonstrate system operation and provide customer training.
• Maintain safety practices and a clean work area.
• Identify improvements to enhance system use and functionality.
