Job summary

Siemens Mobility offers a Building Automation Systems Specialist Internship in the Milwaukee area. You will gain hands-on experience on HVAC automation, building systems, and smart building technologies through field work, training, and project participation.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a 2-year technical program in HVAC/building automation, able to work 40 hours/week for 10 weeks, and legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or state-recognised GED.
• Students currently enrolled in or who have recently completed a 2-year Technical College/School pursuing a degree in HVAC Controls, Building Automation, Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or related program.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week program (May–July or June–August).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; visa support is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Spend most of your time on job sites with experienced Siemens technicians, learning installation, programming and service of HVAC automation systems.
• Rotate through service and project delivery teams to understand customer support from installation to maintenance and upgrades.
• Document service activities, explain system operations to customers and assist with basic training.
