Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Enrolled or recent graduate from a 2-year technical program in HVAC/building automation or related field.
• Available to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week program (May–July or June–August).
• Must work onsite in Pittsburgh, no relocation stipend.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Comfortable in dynamic environments and confined spaces (rooftops, mechanical rooms, crawl spaces).
• Hands-on role using tools, laptops, tablets, and other tech to review program and troubleshoot systems.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Spend 80% of time on job sites with experienced Siemens technicians learning installation, programming, and servicing HVAC automation in commercial buildings.
• Gain 10% exposure to sales by working with the sales team to design building solutions.
• Rotate through service and project delivery teams to understand installation to long-term maintenance and upgrades.
• Visit customer sites with technicians to troubleshoot HVAC and building automation systems and assist with commissioning.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management to resolve drawing discrepancies and address challenges.
• Document service activities and train customers to ensure smooth hand-off and suggest upgrades.
