Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing or recently completed 2-year technical college program in HVAC/building automation or related field.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week program (May–July or June–August).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Comfortable working in dynamic environments (rooftops, mechanical rooms, crawl spaces, indoors/outdoors).
• Hands-on role using tools and devices to review programs and troubleshoot building systems.

Responsibilities

• Spend most time on job sites with Siemens technicians, learning installation, programming and service of HVAC automation systems.
• Rotate through service and project delivery teams to understand installation to long-term maintenance.
• Assist in diagnosing issues, performing maintenance and repairs, or supporting new installations and commissioning.
• Interface with customers to document activities, explain operations, and provide basic training.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management to resolve discrepancies in system drawings.
• Document service activities and contribute to upgrades or system enhancements for better performance.
