Job summary

Siemens invites you to join its Smart Building Internship Program in Norcross, GA as a Building Automation Systems Specialist Intern. You’ll spend most of the time on job sites learning to install, program, and service advanced HVAC automation in commercial buildings, while gaining exposure to sales and project operations.

You’ll work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks, with on-site participation and hands-on experience under seasoned Siemens technicians. Only U.S.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Currently enrolled or recently completed a 2-year technical college/school in HVAC controls, building automation or related field.
Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week program (May–July or June–August).
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

80% Field Technician Experience: on-site installation, programming, and service of HVAC automation systems.
10% Sales Exposure: collaborate with sales to understand customer solutions.
10% Project & Service Operations: support delivery from installation to maintenance and upgrades.
Visit customer sites with experienced technicians to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
Collaborate with engineering/project management to resolve discrepancies in drawings and address challenges.
Interface with customers to document activities and provide basic system training.
