Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pursuing a 2-year technical degree in HVAC/Building Automation or related field.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Comfortable working in rooftops, mechanical rooms, crawl spaces, and outdoors.
• Hands-on role requiring use of hand tools and other tech.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on job sites with technicians learning HVAC automation installation and service.
• Shadow sales to understand customer solutions and building performance improvements.
• Rotate through service and project operations to learn installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Visit customer sites to troubleshoot and support new installations and system commissioning.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management to resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Interface with customers to document activities and explain system operations.
