Job summary

Brinks Home in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Alarm Service Technician who installs, services, and inspects low‑voltage security equipment at customer sites, building lasting relationships and ensuring systems meet customer needs.

You will work on alarm panels (2GIG, Qolsys, Ademco, GE, DSC, DMP), troubleshoot issues, and travel to homes. Ladders, crawlspaces, and tight spaces are part of the job; a low‑voltage license or certification and NICET I are required. Brinks offers robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with installing, servicing and testing low-voltage security equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites.
• Must hold a low-voltage license or alarm installation certification and NICET I.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and inspect alarm panels and devices at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and provide customer education and demonstrations.
• Drive to homes, lift up to 30 pounds, climb ladders, and work in crawlspaces and attics.
• Review work orders with customers to ensure system meets needs and standards.
