Job summary

Brinks Home is seeking a determined Alarm Service Technician to install, service, and inspect low-voltage security equipment at customer sites. The role emphasizes customer focus, accountability, and integrity as core values while building lasting relationships.

Candidates should be able to troubleshoot, climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and carry up to 30 pounds. A valid driver's license and appropriate low-voltage credentials are required.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Low-voltage license or alarm installation certification.
• NICET I certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites throughout the workday to install, service, and inspect low-voltage security equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and replace system components as needed.
• Drive to customer homes for service calls.
• Conduct walkthrough/site evaluation to ensure the system meets customer needs.
• Install and test equipment and verify signals for service.
• Educate customers and demonstrate system operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Identify opportunities to improve system functionality for customers.
