Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is seeking a customer-centric professional to protect and expand existing business by negotiating renewals and selling products and services. You will understand customer needs, provide responsive support, and collaborate with customer group representatives and other client reps to meet retention goals.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring continued and increased growth by negotiating renewals or selling products and services to existing customers, understanding customer needs, and providing customer support. This position interfaces with customer group representatives or producers, may assist other small group client reps, and is accountable for meeting departmental retention goals.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma OR GED.
• Must have State Insurance License(s) or obtain State Insurance License(s) within 90 days.
• 2 years customer service experience in a health care or health insurance environment OR college degree.
• PC proficiency or data entry experience.
• Customer Service oriented with skills to evaluate customer situations, make decisions and respond quickly to questions.
• Detail oriented.
• Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and independent decision making skills.
• Analytical and organizational skills.

This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Flex employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week. Management will have discretion to modify an employee's weekly schedule for exigent circumstances.

Base Pay Range

$45,400.00 - $68,400.00
