Job summary

ADT is seeking a self-motivated sales professional to visit small business customers, demonstrate ADT security solutions, and tailor system configurations to each business. You will build trusted relationships, understand client needs, and guide decisions to optimized security and automation setups.

Travel within a designated territory is required; a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong communicator and natural relationship builder.
• Adaptable and flexible; able to learn new systems quickly.
• Customer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust with small business owners throughout the sales process.
• Customize each system to fit the business’s layout and security needs.
• Conduct post-install follow-ups to confirm commitments and foster long-term relationships.
• Identify and generate new small business leads within your territory to drive growth.
