Job summary

ADT is seeking sales advisors to demonstrate the value of security and smart business solutions to small business customers. You will visit clients at their locations, explain products, and tailor solutions to fit their operations, combining security, automation, and life-safety tech.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, tech-savvy, and skilled at building relationships. Travel within designated territory is required, with mileage reimbursement and uncapped commissions supporting earnings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within designated territory using own vehicle; mileage reimbursed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; licensing may be needed by location.
• Tech-savvy, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated, results-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills to counsel customers and guide them to the right solution.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust with small business owners by demonstrating integrity, empathy and expertise.
• Customize each system to fit the business’s layout, operations, and security needs, combining security, automation, and life-safety technology.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm commitments and strengthen long-term relationships and referrals.
• Cultivate new business opportunities by identifying and generating leads within your territory to maximize outreach and growth.
