Job summary

ADT is hiring a Sales Advisor to demonstrate the value of security solutions to small businesses. You will visit customer locations, tailor systems to fit their operations, and guide decision-makers through the buying process.

Expect an entrepreneurial environment with uncapped commissions and extensive training. Successful candidates are self-motivated, possess strong communication skills, and can travel within a territory.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using own vehicle; mileage reimbursed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; licensing may be location dependent.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated with results-driven entrepreneurial mindset; ability to uncover new leads and close deals.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust with small business owners, acting as a trusted advisor during the sales process.
• Customize each system to fit the business’s layout and security needs, combining security, automation and life-safety tech.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm commitments and strengthen relationships.
• Identify and generate new small business leads within your territory to maximize growth.
