Job summary

ADT is looking for self-motivated sales professionals to join our team as trusted advisors to small business customers. You will demonstrate the value of our security and smart business solutions, tailoring recommendations to each client’s layout and needs, and traveling to client sites within your territory.

You’ll build long-term relationships, handle post-install follow-ups, and pursue new leads to drive growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized and productive in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset; proven ability to uncover new leads and close deals.
• Strong communicator and relationship builder who can guide customers to the right solution.
• Adaptable and flexible; performs well in changing environments.
• Previous consumer sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust with small business owners throughout the sales process.
• Customize each system to fit the business layout and security needs.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups to confirm commitments and strengthen relationships and referrals.
• Identify and generate new small business leads within your territory to maximize outreach and growth.
