Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Small Business Relationship Banker to serve as the primary SMB banking partner for assigned branches and grow client relationships with SMBs earning $500K–$2.5M in annual revenue.

The role involves proactive outreach, discovery and consultative selling, collaborating with branches and specialists to address cash flow, deposits, lending, treasury and other SMB needs, while meeting growth targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or equivalent experience and job-related experience.
• Three or more years of customer service, consultative sales, networking, prospecting, and/or small-business banking experience.
• National Mortgage Licensing Service registration under the SAFÉ Act and Regulation Z, with ongoing compliance and a satisfactory criminal and credit record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Small Business Banking partner for assigned branches.
• Provide comprehensive financial solutions to SMBs with annual revenues between $500K and $2.5M.
• Build and deepen client relationships through proactive outreach, structured discovery, consultative selling, and disciplined follow-through.
• Collaborate with branch teams, centers of influence, clients, and other business line partners to deliver value.
• Maintain relationship ownership and CRM discipline while balancing acquisition, deepening, and service.
