RTX is seeking a Chief Engineer for the SM-6 program to support Transition to Production in Tucson, AZ. You will guide technical strategy, interface with the Navy, and lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure program cadence and successful contract deliverables.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, a STEM degree with 10+ years’ experience in system development, and proven leadership across complex architectures and production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in system development, design, verification, and production.
• Experience leading engineering teams and multi-program execution.
• Active and transferable DoD Secret security clearance required.

Responsabilités

• Establish and manage a product vision and goals across IPTs and customers.
• Ensure technical integrity and execution to meet cost, schedule, and requirements.
• Act as principal technical contact with senior customer counterparts and leadership.
• Drive integration, risk management, and roadmap alignment across the program.
• Lead a multi-disciplined engineering team supporting development and production.
