RTX is seeking a Chief Engineer for the SM-6 program to support Transition to Production in Tucson, AZ. This on-site role requires deep technical leadership across IPTs, governance with the Navy, and coordination with factories and suppliers.

You will establish a product vision, manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and drive execution to meet cost, schedule and technical goals while maintaining program cadence. DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with system development, requirements development, verification, system integration and production.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Establish and manage a product vision and goals across programs and customers.
• Ensure technical integrity and execution to meet cost, schedule and tech requirements.
• Serve as primary technical contact with senior customer and program leaders.
• Influence customers on capabilities, risks, and architecture needs.
• Support capture of new business and influence roadmaps.
• Plan and lead upgrades and system improvements incrementally.
• Drive improvements within production as a key FRACAS/quality stakeholder.
• Engage major subcontractors to ensure product deliverables.
• Direct a multi-disciplinary engineering team across development and production.
• Provide engineering disposition for Export/Import (EXIM) compliance.
