RTX is seeking a Chief Engineer for the SM-6 Program to support Transition to Production. The role requires leadership across IPTs, interfacing with the US Navy and factories, and delivering technical direction to meet contract deliverables.

The position is 100% onsite in Tucson, AZ, with responsibilities spanning product vision, architecture decisions, and program execution. A Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with system development and design, requirements development, management, verification, system integration and test, and production.
• Experience with modular systems architectures and product lines.
• Experience as a technical leader who can develop work plans and drive execution.

Responsabilités

• Establish and manage product vision, strategy, and goals across programs/customers.
• Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
• Serve as primary technical point of contact with senior customer counterparts and internal leadership.
• Influence and align stakeholders on technical capabilities and roadmaps.
• Capture new business opportunities and reflect them in program planning and execution.
• Plan incremental upgrades and system improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement in production environments and FRACAS processes.
• Engage major subcontractors to ensure product deliverables.
• Direct a multi-disciplinary engineering team supporting development and production.
• Provide technical advisory disposition for Export/Import (EXIM) compliance.
