Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Team Driver to operate sleeper tractors with another driver on extended runs. You must hold a valid Class A CDL, DOT medical certification, and be available for a five-day work week away from home.

You will transport loads between XPO facilities, follow DOT regulations, and use internal tools while enjoying benefits and a route across a wide network.

Qualifications

• Be a member of an existing team; both team members must apply to this position.
• Have a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Have a working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
• Safe driving record and history.
• Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical.
• Available to work away from home in a five-day work week.
• Possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Run loads between XPO facilities for pickup and drop off and work with fellow XPO employees.
• Navigate various routes, maintain CMV safety, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
• Operate various tractor-trailer combinations over long distances in a typical 5-day work week away from home.
• Operate the vehicle safely within DOT regulations.
• Operate all internal freight transportation work tools and required systems.
