Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is hiring for a Team Driver to operate in a two-person sleeper tractor on extended runs, joining an existing team.

You and your partner will manage loads between XPO facilities, coordinate with dispatch, and maintain CMV safety across long distances in a typical 5-day work week away from home. The role offers weekly pay, mileage pay at $0.487 per mile per driver, and an hourly wait time rate of $35.42 for delays, with full health insurance on day one, PTO, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Be a member of an existing team and both team members must apply.
• Strong verbal and written communication for coordination with dispatchers and team members.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Run loads between XPO facilities for pickup and drop-off with fellow employees.
• Navigate routes, maintain CMV safety, and comply with transportation regulations.
• Operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances during a typical 5‑day work week away from home.
• Operate the vehicle safely within DOT regulations and use internal freight tools.
