Job summary

XPO is seeking an experienced Team Driver to operate in a sleeper-tractor with an existing partner on extended runs. You will run loads between XPO facilities, maintain CMV safety, and stay compliant with DOT regulations in a typical 5-day work week away from home.

Compensation includes weekly pay, mileage and hourly waiting pay, and comprehensive benefits from day one. This role requires strong teamwork, a clean driving record, and valid CDL with HAZMAT/Tank endorsements.

Qualifications

• Must be part of an existing team and both team members must apply.
• Able to partner with another driver in a sleeper tractor on extended runs.
• Be at least 21 years of age with a valid Class A CDL.
• Working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
• Safe driving record and history.
• Hold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physical.
• Available to work away from home in a five-day work week.
• Endorsements: hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples.

Responsibilities

• Run loads between XPO facilities for pickup and drop off with fellow XPO employees.
• Navigate routes, maintain CMV safety, and comply with transportation regulations.
• Operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances in a typical 5-day week away from home.
• Operate the vehicle safely within DOT regulations and use internal freight tools.
