Job summary

Sleep Number Corporation is seeking a results-driven Retail Sales Manager to lead a Sleep Number store team in Houston, TX. You will drive a world-class customer experience, guide customers through product selections, and coach staff to meet and exceed sales goals.

You will recruit, train, and retain top talent, manage store operations, and use POS systems and iPad-based demos to present Sleep Number products effectively.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven sales management or team leadership experience with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
• Experience recruiting, training, engaging and retaining top talent.
• Adept at using technology required for store operations (e.g., POS systems) and sales presentations (e.g., interactive demonstrations, iPad).
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, growth-oriented work environment and be motivated by pay-for-performance.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to demonstrate English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a world-class customer experience using a proven sales process to guide customers to Sleep Number products that deliver the best sleep of their life.
• Build relationships with customers and team; communicate product features, promotions, and store procedures; provide timely follow-up and coaching.
• Lead store operations, recruiting, management, training and sales functions to ensure productivity and policy compliance.
• Leverage company programs to generate local market awareness and drive store traffic; maintain accountability for sales goals and team performance.
